Roy writes: Great video. I had never understood the 'competition' angle until I saw this. I always assumed that the more popular a phrase was, the more people were looking for it and therefore the more visitors I would likely pull. Now, thanks to this video I understand the relevance of choosing a phrase that does not have a high degree competitor searches. For the first time, I can see how 'niche' phrases can work better for my page ranking than using general every day phrases that I'd always assumed would be best. I now understand the need to research and spend time on this aspect before committing phrases to my keyword selections. Thank you. You've explained something in just a few minutes that has so far taken me nearly 12 months to fathom.
